Absolute Grey were an alternative rock band formed in September 1983 in Rochester, New York, United States. [ [http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,515867,00.html Bio] ] The group's original lineup compromised of percussionist Pat Thomas, guitarist Matt Kitchen, vocalist Beth Brown and bassist Mitchell Rasor.

After disbanding an expanded reissue of "A Journey Through the Past" was released in 2002. In 2003 a remixed edition of "Green House: 20th Anniversary Edition" with a bonus disc of live recordings was released.
