Jeff Donald Housman (born
August 4 ,1981 inVisalia, California ) is a professionalbaseball pitcher . He most recently filled the position of middle reliever and was assigned to theMilwaukee Brewers ' Triple-A affiliate, theNashville Sounds .Career
Housman broke into the minors in the by|2002 season, playing with the
Milwaukee Brewers ' rookie farm team, theOgden Raptors . He went 1-3 with a 8.16 ERA in 32 innings pitched. For the by|2003 season, he started the year with the Class ABeloit Snappers , where he went 2-7 and had a 1.82 ERA. He was bumped up to the Double-AHuntsville Stars later in the year. Playing with Huntsville for the rest of the season and part of the by|2004 season, he accumulated an 8-10 record with them in that time period. Again, he was bumped up near the end of the 204 season to Triple-A Indianapolis. He played the entire by|2005 season with the Brewers' new Triple-A affiliation, theNashville Sounds , but a 5-12 record and a 6.54 ERA demoted him back down to Huntsville for the by|2006 and by|2007 seasons. In 2007, he earned a spot on Milwaukee's forty-man roster. Duringspring training by|2008, Housman was released by the Brewers.
