Hanoi International American Hospital (American Hospital in Vietnam) - an up-to-date hospital, which began to be built in Vietnam since 2007 [ [http://www.vietnamoverseas.com/?p=176 Vietnam Overseas web-site] ] . The investment license has already been issued by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam in 1997 [ [http://www.hapi.gov.vn/portals/default.aspx?portalid=5&tabid=127&fieldid=22&ProjectID=153 Ministry of planning and investment of Vietnam] ] , although the project implementation was only on paper since that time.

The project site covers 12,000 square miles of territory between Old Town and New Town of Hanoi near the Red River.

The hospital will supposedly offer such services: General Medical Care, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Chiropractic, Psychiatry, Neurology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Nursing Services, Otorhinolaryngology, Accupuncture, Oncology, Cardiology, Pathology.
