Inside Insanity

Inside Insanity is a comedy radio show that has been on and off the radio airwaves since 1995. Currently, it is on 91.3 FM [http://www.cjtr.ca] in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada Wednesday nights at midnight. It is produced, written and hosted by Jordan, your DJ. Inside Insanity features parodies, skits, stand-up, novelty, bad covers and anything else that is unusual. Artists you are likely to hear from week to week include Weird Al, Arrogant Worms, Bruce McCulloch, 3 Dead Trolls in a Baggie, Spike Jones, and so many more.

Jordan, your DJ (born Jordan Bell, April 3, 1973 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) grew up wanting to be a disc jockey until he realized that on commercial radio, you couldn't play whatever music you wanted to. He turned to volunteering at community radio where he could have that control. Jordan started producing, writing and DJing at Saskatoon's Community Radio station, CFCR in 1995 with a show called "Not Original, Just Different". This show had some comedy elements, but featured a variety of other genres. In late 1995, he switched the show to "Inside Insanity" and played exclusively comedy. This run was short lived as Jordan left the country in July 1996 and had to give up the show.

Jordan was off the air until 2002, when Regina Community Radio, CJTR, started up. He brought "Inside Insanity" to Regina listeners every Sunday night for just over a year. There was a brief hiatus from late 2003 to mid 2004, when Jordan was again out of the country. Since then, Inside Insanity has been on Wednesday nights at midnight. There are several recurring characters he refers to frequently that influence his shows, such as Ms. Your DJ, the little Your DJ's, Fangirl, the Girl From Across the Pond, and the Girl From T.O.
