"Evil in the Night" is American Thrash metal band Merciless Death's debut album, self-released in May 5th 2006 at the “Thrasho De Mayo I” show held at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, California with cover artwork by Andy and Cesar Torres.

In an interview with Dan Holder in 2007 and [http://www.metal-rules.com/zine/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=901&Itemid=60 available here] , Dan said another idea they had for the cover artwork was this shadowy figure standing somewhere like on a mountain or something, holding a head up in the air by its hair - with its blood and guts falling out the bottom of the head onto the ground and a knife in his other hand obviously giving the inclination that he had beheaded the person, but they decided on the girl with the zombies.
