Chris Rogers came from a music background as a singer playing with musicians from Herbert Grönemeyer and Chaka Khan [cite web |url=http://www.meandtheheat.eu/de/index.php|title=Me and the Heat|accessdate=2007-01-02 |last= |first= |coauthors= |date= |work= |publisher=Me and the Heat] .

He trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

As an actor he started professionally in 2003 playing the Evil Prince in the world premiere adaptation of Frank Zappa’s musical "Thing Fish" [cite web |url=http://www.stagecraftentertainment.com/prdctns/thngfsh.html |title=An authorized production of Frank Zappa's "Thing-Fish" |accessdate=2007-11-02 |last= |first= |coauthors= |date= |work= |publisher=Stagecraft Entertainment] .

Chris is among the cast of the film Rapture (film).
