Jonathan Kim

Jonathan H. Kim has produced five of the top 50 highest grossingKorean films of all time including Silmido_%28film%29, the first Korean film tosurpass 10 million domestic ticket sales. He has received the DaejongAward for Best Picture and Best Executive Producer (the Korean Oscarequivalent).

His 16 produced films include the critically acclaimed LIES (56thVenice Film Festival), Ditto_%282000_film%29, Sisily_2km (the most profitable Korean film of 2004,also called To Catch A Virgin Ghost, a film that will be screenedduring the KOFFLA), and the recent release, Virgin_Snow_%28film%29, aKorean-Japanese co-production between CJ Entertainment and KadokawaHerald Pictures.

He recently completed his term as the chairman of the Korean FilmProducers Association. He also served as a mentor for the first twoyears of the Korean Film Council Filmmaker Development Lab.
