This Vision

This Vision is an electro/synth pop band from the South-Swedish city Helsingborg which was formed in the spring of 2006 when the members of the band Stones Cry Out decided to stop playing rock music. Three of the members - Marcus Lantz, Christian Hartmann and Jon Mattsson - decided to continue creating music and went into the studio to try out different sounds. During the later stages of Stones Cry Out's existens synthesizers had become an increasingly important element of the music so it was kind of natural that the new musical project continued on that path. Marcus, who had been playing the drums now instead took the role as the singer and live drums were replaced by drum programming. In just a couple of months This Vision had managed to create their own unique sound - electronic pop music characterized by Marcus' soft vocals which together with synthesizers and guitars create a melancholic and beautiful soundscape.
