railway line of theVestfold Line from Skoppum to Horten. It is currently disused thought the crossings are still operational.History
The line was officially opened on 13 October 1881 as a
narrow gauge railway (1067 mm). In 1949 it was rebuilt, along with the rest of Vestfoldbanen, tostandard gauge , and electrified in 1957 at 15 kV AC. Passenger traffic was terminated on 28 May 1967 while freight traffic terminated in January 2002. In 2007 it was decided that the line is to be closed and converted to a bicycle path.
