Mog (people)

The Mog are one of the secluded tribes who live in the Indian state of Tripura.

In 1951 they numbered 3,789 and by 1971 there were 13,273 Mog in Tripura. [Gan-Chaudhuri, Jagadis. "Tripura: The Land and its People". (Delhi: Leeladevi Publications, 1980) p. 10]
