Jon "NEVERDIE" Jacobs is a controversial Virtual World Avatar and arguably one of the most famous Avatars in the World. Reuters describe him as “a legendary adventurer, celebrity, and fabulously wealthy entrepreneur in the online world of Entropia.” The Associated Press describe him as an “Internet Icon” He has become synonymous with the growing popularity of the leading Real Cash Virtual World platform; Entropia Universe.

He made headlines in 2005 on the BBC News and around the globe when he mortgaged his house to buy a virtual Asteroid for $100,000 USD. He subsequently appeared in The Discovery Channel Documentaries; Gamer Generation and I Video Game, he also appeared in the Canal+ Documentary 'La Vraie vie des mondes virtuels'. Fox News did a 5 part video interview with him titled Portrait of an Avatar. The LA Times describe him as “The first Cyber Super Star” and Stuff magazine included NEVERDIE at #28 on their list of most powerful people under 30 (He was the only Avatar on the List)

He is included in the 2008 Guinness Book of Records for owning an Asteroid Club NEVERDIE "the Most expensive virtual item" Club NEVERDIE is recognized by MIXMAG as “ the #1 Virtual nightclub in the World”. Club NEVERDIE is also host to the Massive Multiplayer online World Championships (MMOWC). NEVERDIE has appeared on 60 minutes and numerous other international and US national Media and publications. He is included in the Book Altar Ego by Robbie Cooper.

He also wrote and recorded an album under the name NEVERDIE which includes a very popular song ‘Gamer Chick’ inspired by his late fiancé Tina Leiu (Vocalist for Spankox dance anthem ‘To the Club’) Jon Jacobs was a prolific independent filmmaker based in Hollywood in 1990s, he wrote a book documenting the period “The Book of Omens” (ISBN 0972452958) notable films include “Welcome says the Angel, Lucinda's Spell, Hey DJ! And Hungarian Film Week winner Johnny Famous. He Won the Maverick Actor Award at the prestigious Method Fest in 2001. His short film Metropolis Apocalypse was an official selection at the Semaine de la critique at the Cannes film festival in 1988. Variety ran an article on his talent for promotion in their Mifed Oct 1998 Issue. He is married to Singer Cheri london and has two children Taliesin Jacobs, by Tina Leiu and Sheba London Jacobs with Cheri London.
