synonyms ="Erigeron compactus" is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family known by the common names cushion daisy and fernleaf fleabane. This wildflower is native to the woodlands and slopes of the southwestern United States. It is a small perennial daisy rarely reaching a maximum height of 10 centimeters. It grows in fuzzy patches and clumps of fleshy leaves, each no more than 2.5 centimeters long and somewhat rounded in cross-section. It erects short, hairy stems each holding a single flower head about a centimeter wide. The head has a yellow center of disc florets and white, pink, or bicolored ray florets around the edge.
