[www.mixedfolks.com/singers5.htm] Originally fromFredrick Douglass Houses located inHarlem , New York City, Sacario migrated to the notoriousWashington Heights section of Upper Manhattan also known as “Little Dominican Republic” at the age of 12.Sacario attended Norman Thomas H.S where he rapped and performed for the first time ever in the schools annual talent showcase. He adopted the stage name “Jay Murder” after fellow Harlem rapper and inspiration “
Mase Murder”, but was allegedly kicked out of school by Gang Intelligence. However, regardless of his less-than-stellar start, Sacario proved to be extremely smart, excelling tremendously in Both Reading and Writing. He would go on to earn his G.E.D.Music
Before achieving mainstream success, Sacario independently released a street album titled “Invincible”. It was on this album that his now classic record “Live Big” (car keys) was originally featured. Invincible also attracted the attention of Hot 97 radio personality Angie Martinez and ultimately led to Sacario signing a multi-million dollar recording contract with Elektra Entertainment/Animal House.

If I Could Go ," Sacario was additionally hired to write Martinez's second single entitled "Take You Home" featuring R&B songstressKelis . Even though Sacario was signed to Elektra Ent as an artist he went on to write for Angie Martinez on her album "Animal House", which boasted appearances by hip-hop superstarMissy Elliott , rapper Noriega and singerLil' Mo as well as production byScott Storch , Rick Rock andCool & Dre .The album debuted #11 on the
Billboard 2020 selling just fewer than 100,000 copies in its first week. The album peaked #6 on the charts. "Animal House" would eventually be certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies.Label drama
Despite a massive buzz early in his career Sacario has yet to release a much anticipated album. In 2005 Sacario was granted a full release from Elektra after the label folded its Urban Department. Since then, Sacario has successfully launched his own music and film production company, "Quiet INK Productions" and in 2008 has two films in production as well as a new music single "Do It to Me" heating up the clubs globally.

Almost immediately, the young recording artist Sacario drew comparisons rapper,
Jay-Z . Sacario’s eerie almost identical vocal tone resemblance to the Hip-Hop icon led many to believe that Sacario was in fact, Jay-Z. Nevertheless, after careful consideration, Brooklyn Native, Producer and Jay-Z discoverer Clark Kent would be quoted as saying "They compare Sacario to Jay-Z simply because Sacario is that good."In December 2007 Jay-Z partner and Owner of 40/40 Club and Baseline Studios, Juan Perez expressed major interest in bringing Sacario to Rocafella Records. A deal he says will be completed in 2008.
