Beit Guvrin ( _he. בֵּית גֻּבְרִין, "lit." House of Men - Guvrin is an ancient Aramaic word) is a kibbutz in the Lakhish region, west of the ancient city of Beit Guvrin, for which it is named. It belongs to Yoav Regional Council. It is about 14 km east of Kiryat Gat, the nearest city. Its area is about 20,000 dunams.

Beit Guvrin was founded in 1949 by people who left Palmach on the land of the abandoned Arab village Beit Jibrin, whose residents fled after military assault by Jewish forces it in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. [Benny Morris (2004): "The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem Revisited", p. XIX, village #322. Gives the cause of depopulation, p xxii #166 gives date of establishment.]
