Helen Trevillion is a musician from
England . She creates music in various styles, but is mainly known for her 'Celtic' music, herTolkien -influenced songs, such as 'Eldamar', and her popular video game music remixes. She has also written several more 'mainstream' songs with intensely personal lyrics, often dealing with issues of love, loneliness and faith/hope.Ms. Trevillion has a significant following and respectable reputation for her musical talent and cheerful, friendly personality within music composition and critique communities, as well as the general Celtic/video game music fanbase. She has recently completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in music composition at the
University of Hertfordshire .Much of her music is freely available for download from her website.
In 2005 she won the categories of 'Best Unsigned Artist' and 'Best Song by an Unsigned Artist' at
Radio Rivendell 's Fantasy AwardsIn Spring 2007 Helen was released on a compilation known as "Radio Rivendell compilation" released by
Waerloga records andRadio Rivendell [http://www.radiorivendell.com/compilation/]In August 2007 Helen released her debut album "Inside Myself / Once Upon A Time" through her own independent label Faefly Records, and has now begun production of a series of new projects, including a second concept album entitled "The Cocoon", exploring the idea of life as a series of psychological cocoons; tides, transformations and perceptions.
