* Bolded goalscorers were top scorer in Division overall.

Notes.
* From 1888-89 to 1980-81, 2 points were awarded for a win. From 1981-82 to the present day, 3 points awarded for a win
* League Cup did not start until 1960/61 season.
* Some attendances figures are estimates.
