The band was formed in 1981 by former
Pop Mašina membersRobert Nemeček (vocals and bass guitar) and brothers Zoran andVidoja Božinović (guitars). Soon afterwardsVladan Dokić (drums), former member of the band Pop Šou joined the band. The band had its first live performance in 1981 in
Zagreb , as a part of the event named "Pozdrav iz Beograda". Soon afterwards the band released self-titled album "Rok Mašina". Later that year, Dragan Đorđević, former member ofGeneracija 5 , replaced Dokić, but at the time of New Wave expansion, the future for the band was not very promising, and the band disbanded while recording their second studio album.
