Tawashi

The nihongo|tawashi|たわし or 束子|extra="lit.," a bundle is a Japanese traditional scrubbing brush to wash off the dirt. The typical tawashi is Kamenoko Tawashi.

Kamenoko Tawashi

The nihongo|Kamenoko Tawashi|亀の子たわし or 亀の子束子|extra="lit.," the tawashi like a larva of a turtle is a kind of tawashi made of fiber of a hemp palm. Because the Kamenoko Tawashi is hard, durable and waterproof, it is suitable for wash food equipments, bathtubs, cloth shoes and so on. It should not to use for tender goods.
