Chlorex-A, also branded as Coldex-A SR, Nalex-A, Blanex-A, Rhinacon A [1], is a registered trademark for a combination antihistamine and nasal decongestant medication used for cold and allergy symptoms. It is produced by Cypress Pharmaceutical. The generic form of Chlorex-A is Chlorpheniramine / Phenylephrine / Pyrilamine. It is available in suspension form in doses of 2 mg, 5 mg, and 12.5 mg per 5 mL.[2] Chlorex is currently not available as an over-the-counter medication and requires a prescription for purchase in the United States. It is, however, available as a generic.
