Anne Gallet

Anne Gallet is a Swiss harpsichordist and musicologist.

Born in Geneva, at the age of twenty she won the first prize for virtuosity at the conservatory of Geneva in the class of Isabelle Nef. She subsequently studied at the Musikakademie of Vienna and further under Gustav Leonhardt. A Laureate of the International Competition of Bruges in 1965, she was soon in demand as an artiste at most European and American festivals, both as a soloist and to accompany performers such as Jordi Savall, Hopkinson Smith, Sigiswald Kuijken, Philippe Huttenlocher etc. She obtained a Master's degree in musicology at Washington University in St. Louis, where she also taught the harpsichord for two years.

She is currently a teacher at the Geneva Conservatory and at the Early Music Centre of Geneva.
