Fryderyk Wilhelm ( _cs. Bedřich Vilém, _de. Friedrich Wilhelm) (9 November 1601 - 19 August 1625) was the Duke of Cieszyn. He was the son of Adam Wacław, Duke of Cieszyn and Elisabeth.
His mother died 10 days after she gave birth to Fryderyk Wilhelm. After the death of his father, he was raised by several important nobles. His sister, Elżbieta Lukrecja took the regency in the name of young Fryderyk Wilhelm. He was educated in the Jesuit college in München.
Fryderyk Wilhelm came back to Cieszyn in 1624 but was present sporadically in that town. In the 1620s a plague infected the duchy and many citizens died. Duchy was also affected by the Thirty Years' War and plundered by various forces. In religious sphere he was tolerant and avoided restrictions towards both Catholics and Protestants. [Panic 2002, 33.] Totally committed to politics young duke never married, fell ill and died in Cologne in 1625.
