Sun Water Systems is located in Fort Worth, Texas and has been manufacturing high-end water filters since 1997. Sun Water Systems manufactures selective filtration water filters using activated carbon with ion-exchange resin. They recently launched a "Bottle Your Own" campaign to encourage consumers to use less disposable plastic bottles due to the tremendous negative effects on the environment. The founder of Sun Water Systems, Charles Strand, has received 17 U.S. patents in water filtration and is the author of the books "All About Water" and "Water, The Essence Of Life".

History

Sun Water Systems has designed and produced water filers, under private label, for over 50 U.S. and international companies and is considered an industry leader in water filters. Some of their more widely used filters are the Aquasana, Rhino and Jonathan Beauty Water products. Sun Water Systems was recently included on the Inc. 500 list of the top fastest growing private companies in the U.S. for their Aquasana brand water filters. Coining a unique, "Bottle Your Own" ad slogan, each Aquasana filter system comes with a refilable glass water storage bottle.
