Arkel is a railway station, located in Arkel in the Netherlands.

History

The station is located on the Arriva line between Dordrecht and Geldermalsen.

It was opened on December 1, 1883, was closed on May 15, 1938 and was reopened on June 10, 1940. Originally, Arkel had two tracks, in the 1980s this was reduced to a single track.

Arriva has operated the service since December 2006.
