municipal council of Kortrijk, member of the provincial council ofWest Flanders , three times President of theBelgian Senate (26 April, 1939 until 8 November, 1947 and 8 November, 1949 until 30 April, 1950 and 5 May, 1954 until 29 April, 1958) andMinister of State .ee also
