Hans Erik Husby, also known as Hank Von Helvete (meaning Hank Von Hell, as 'von' does not mean 'from' in Norwegian,) Hertugen and Hærtis, born on
June 15 ,1972 , is the lead vocalist of Norwegian death-punk bandTurbonegro . Husby's band is most well-known for their tongue-in-cheek humor dealing with homosexual aesthetics and punk rock antics, and the formation of a genre they label "death punk". The band formed in the late 1980s and put out a few records before disbanding in 1998. The band later reunited in 2002, and are still together today.Husby went through detox while living at the
Moskenes island inLofoten , Norway. Here he worked at Norsk Fiskeværsmuseum in Å, as well as working as a presenter at Moskenesradioen, a local radio station.One of Husby's favorite singers is David Bowie. He is a supporter of
FC St. Pauli , a German football-club.During the Norwegian
TV show "Først og Sist" in 2005 Husby was asked this question from theTV host : "Do you like plants, Hank?". On this Hank replied "No, but I've been addicted to one".According to Norwegian press, Husby was married to Heidi Riise in 2004, but they separated in 2007.
