Geneva Basin Ski Area

Geneava Basin Ski Area (originally Indianhead Ski Area) opened in 1963. Geneva Basin was developed by an Illinois family after their Indianhead Ski Area in Michigan, (now Indianhead Mountain Resort) [ [http://www.indianheadmtn.com/ Indianhead Mountain Resort] ] . The Basin closed in 1965, and was auction off to former Colorado Governor Roy Romer and the Burk Family.
