Benjamin Chang is an American diplomat, serving as a deputy spokesman on

Chang grew up amidst the
upper-middle-class suburb ofBethesda, Maryland and attendedWalt Whitman High School inBethesda, Maryland , graduating in 1989. During High School, he was also a member of "Children as Teachers of Peace," a student cultural exchange program.
