Ben Chang

Benjamin Chang is an American diplomat, serving as a deputy spokesman on Richard Grenell's staff at the United States Mission to the United Nations. He was also named one of PAPER Magazine's 64 Most Beautiful People of 2008 [http://www.papermag.com/?section=article&parid=2553] .

Background and education

Chang grew up amidst the upper-middle-class suburb of Bethesda, Maryland and attended Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland, graduating in 1989. During High School, he was also a member of "Children as Teachers of Peace," a student cultural exchange program. He attended Georgetown University, where he was a graduate of the School of Foreign Service, earning a B.A. in 1994.

Public policy career

Between 1995 and 2003, Chang served in a variety of different State Department positions, including El Salvador and Paris with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Personal life
