Mujma

Mujma

The Mujma is a holy book of the Alawites, a cryptic sect with secret beliefs of which much is speculated, and little is known. The book is not openly published and instead is passed down from initiated Master to Apprentice. The Alawis are the ruling, but minority, sect in Syria. Sura 6 of the Mujma is reported to contain the statement "I make for the Door, I prostrate myself before Allah, I worship the essence", which are reputedly coded references to Salman the Persian, Muhammad and Ali, respectively (also called the Door or Bab, Name and Idea, respectively).
