Fred Wick

Fred Wick

Fred Wick is a character at HBO drama Oz played by Chazz Menendez. A background inmate, Wick has a few significant appearances.

eason 1

One of Emerald City's Aryans, Fred Wick assisted Aryan leader Vernon Schillinger at every humiliation against Tobias Beecher. When Beecher came back from the hole after almost blinding Schillinger, Wick tried to attack Beecher, but was taken away by the COs.

eason 2

When Ryan O'Reily discovered he has cancer and shaved his head, Wick mocked O'Reily at the cafeteria, saying that O'Reily has "cancer on the balls, so the doctor cutted [sic] them out". Angry, O'Reily attacked Wick.

eason 3

Wick is manipulated by Ryan O'Reily into snitching on O'Reily and Jaz Hoyt to Schillinger about the two of them smuggling a package into Oz. Hoyt makes an attempt on the life of Schillinger as a result.

eason 4, part I

Emerald City is under the reign of Martin Querns and Simon Adebisi and all the white inmates and COs are being transferred out. Wick was one of them.

eason 4, part II

When Adebisi died and Querns was fired, Wick returned to Emerald City. Doctor Nathan was testing an experimental drug that makes the inmates old, so they could get out of the prison (for example, an inmate was sentenced to 10 years. He takes the drug and got 10 years older, so he is not arrested.). Some inmates were volunteers to test the drug, including Wick. While talking to Jaz Hoyt at Emerald City about his perfect health, Wick died with his nose bleeding. Wick's family decided to sue Doctor Nathan.
