John J. Holland (shipbuilder)

John Holland was a shipbuilder in Seattle, Washington in the late 1800s. Among the vessels built at his yard was the sternwheel steamboat "Fairhaven" in 1889. [Newell, Gordon, and Williamson, Joe, "Pacific Steamboats", at page 43, Superior Publishing Co., Seattle, WA 1958] , and,in 1890, the famous sternwheeler "Bailey Gatzert".
