Sinking Ships was a Melodic hardcore band hailing from Seattle, Washington. In 2005 the band released their debut full length, Meridian, consisting of old demos and new songs.At the end of 2005 Sinking Ships signed to seminal hardcore label Revelation Records. The band released their second album, Disconnecting, in July 2006. Since then, Sinking Ships have toured extensively, alongside such bands as Comeback Kid, Down To Nothing, Shook Ones, Blacklisted, and Shipwreck. They also released a 7" on Revelation entitled "Ten", as well as a self released 7" that was only available on one of their tours. They broke up in April, 2008 and played their last show at Sound and Fury 2008.
