Dean Bell and Brian Foley.Since joining Wigan Sam has captained the junior academy side through the Wigan scholarship scheme and is held in high regard at the club. As well as playing Sam has also taken a part time course and teaches rugby league in the community in partnership with
Tesco .Sam played the 2007 season alongside
Thomas Coyle and Stand Off and can also play Scrum Half. Sam made his debut for the Wigan first team on the13th January ,2007 against Warrington in theLee Briers testimonial defeat.
