Tony Brenton

Tony Brenton

Sir Tony Brenton KCMG, full name Anthony Russell Brenton, born 1 January 1950, is a career diplomat. Since March 2004, he has been the British Ambassador to the Russian Federation. He previously served in Moscow from 1994 to 1998 as Economic and Scientific Counsellor. Other postings have included Washington, Brussels and Cairo.
