Boukari (Greek: Μπούκαρης) also with the second a accented is a fishing settlement in the southern part of the island of
Corfu . It is also in the municipal district ofArgyrades and the municipality ofKorissia . Its2001 population was 330 for the settlement. Boukari is located north of the city of Corfu and near Episkepsi. Several hills dominate the area and farmlands cover the area and the bay dominates the northeast. It also has a nearby beach which makes the place famous. It is linked with the road connecting the GR-25 (Corfu - Argyrades - Lefkimmi). Boukari offers nice tavers which sells fresh fish in a greenish location, situated next to the touristic town ofMessongi . Tourists head for the fresh seafood delicacies as well as having a bath at the cleanest waters of the areas during the summer months. The area brings in for families peace and quiet.Nearest places
