List of Western Australian locomotive classes

This is a list of locomotives that have worked on the Western Australian Government Railways and later operations under the name of Westrail. Regularly scheduled steam operations ceased on mainline operations after 1971 - with only special excursion or enthusiasts trains being hauled by steam after that time.
