Hungarian diaspora

Hungarian diaspora (Magyar diaspora) is a term that encompasses the total ethnic Hungarian population located outside of current-day Hungary. The term generally does not include those ethnic Hungarians living as natives in the states surrounding Hungary, regardless, they are mentioned in this article. There are an estimated 5-6 million people who have Hungarian ancestry.
