Ian Whitty, based in Cork City, Ireland, is an Irish songwriter and vocalist/guitarist. His debut EP "Will O' The Wisp" (2004) [http://www.rte.ie/arts/2003/1219/whittyi.html] is to be followed by his first full-length release [http://www.myspace.com/ianwhitty] in 2008. Both these releases and various singles are released on his Cork-based independent label Whimsical River Records.

Through his career he has shared the stage with Ron Sexsmith, Declan O'Rourke, Bell X1, Josh Ritter, Damien Rice, The Frames and Rodrigo y Gabriella among others. [http://www.peoplesrepublicofcork.com/music/members/380/] .
