Jorgo Chatzimarkakis

Jorgo Chatzimarkakis (born on 21 April 1966 in Duisburg) is a German politician and Member of the European Parliament with the Free Democratic Party of Germany, part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.

He is a substitute for the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Committee on International Trade. He is also a member of theDelegation to the EU-Bulgaria Joint Parliamentary Committee.

* since 1995: Member of the Federal executive of the FDP
* since 2002: Secretary-General of the FDP Saar
* since 1995: Member of the ELDR Council
* 1993: Founder Member of the German-Greek Industrial Association (DHW)
* since 1995: Member of the Liberal Turco-German Association (LTD)
