Explorers Grand Slam

The Explorers Grand Slam or Adventurers' Grand Slam is an adventurers challenge to reach the North Pole, the South Pole and all of the Seven Summits. [cite web|title=Balloonist plans altitude record

David Hempleman-Adams became the first to complete this challenge in 1998. [cite web|title=North Pole party for 'Grand Slam' Briton|url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/85916.stm|publisher=BBC|date=30-04-1998] Norwegian Cecilie Skog is the only woman so far that has achieved the Grand Slam.
