San Jose Sharks in the2002 NHL Entry Draft . After two seasons withSt. Cloud State , he turned pro in 2004, joined the Sharks'American Hockey League affiliate theCleveland Barons with the2004-05 NHL season locked out. After another season with the Barons, he signed with theCarolina Hurricanes and spent another season in the AHL, this time with theAlbany River Rats . Conboy was called up from theAlbany River Rats onJanuary 12 , 2008, due to Hurricanes defensemanGlen Wesley being placed on injured reserve. He played 19 regular season games and scored 5 assists with 60 penalty minutes.External links
