Peggy Drake

Peggy Drake

Peggy Drake (October 6, 1922 - ) was an Austrian film actress of the 1940s, with all of her roles being in B-movies. Born Liesl Lotte Mayer in Vienna, Austria, Drake's acting career started in 1940, in the film "Too Many Girls". Her career was shortlived, with her appearing in only five films starting in 1940 and ending in 1942. However, one of those roles has since become well known to fans of the serial "King of the Mounties", a continuation of the "King of the Royal Mounted" film series. She left the business after 1942, reappearing here and there in uncredited roles.
