Allen Riedel - author, columnist, photographer (October 4, 1971) was born in
Wichita, Kansas . He moved toSanta Maria, California and attendedErnest Righetti High School where he was Senior Class President of the Class of 1990. He also attended theUniversity of California at Santa Barbara from 1990 to 1994 where he graduated with a Bachelor's in English with Honors. He holds a Masters in Education from Chapman University.Allen gained early recognition for his environmental work rallying against such causes as toxic waste with environmentalist and multimedia producer
