Johanna Bennett

Johanna Bennett (born September 30 1984 in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire) attended Wisbech Grammar School before attending the University of East Anglia. Bennett graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2007. She has a Trinidadian mother and an English father.

Whilst studying at Goldsmiths College, Bennett dated Alex Turner (lead singer and guitarist of Arctic Monkeys) for one year. During their relationship, Bennett co-wrote the Arctic Monkeys song "Fluorescent Adolescent" with Turner, which was released as a single in July 2007, and is featured on Arctic Monkeys' second album, "Favourite Worst Nightmare". She is currently dating Matthew Followill of Kings Of Leon with whom she lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
