Charles Pettigrew (May 12 ,1963 -April 6 ,2001 ) died fromcancer on April 6, 2001 at the age of only 37. Pettigrew met singing partner Chacon on a New York subway. Chacon enquired about the record Pettigrew was carrying - Marvin Gaye's "Trouble Man" - and the two strangers soon found themselves in a studio.Chacon had grown up in Oakland, California, where he was in a soul band, and later moved to Miami, Florida, where his recording career continued on projects with the Dust Brothers and Daddy-O. After the hits faded away in 1996, he worked as a writer for EMI Records, writing songs for girl group Eternal, Conner Reeves, Hanne Boel and others.Eddie is also featured on the Danish dance-pop group Musikk's 2005 Album "When the Musikk Starts to Play" on their cover of "Would I Lie to You?"
