Professor Andy Stirling works in the field of science and technology policy, and is presently serving as Director of Science for the
Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) atSussex University . He has a background in the natural sciences, a Master's in archaeology and social anthropology (Edinburgh) and a D.Phil in science and technology policy (Sussex). Greenpeace International, Professor Stirling's work at SPRU has since involved collaboration with a diverse range of organisations.
