Fergusson Intermediate is a State Co-Ed intermediate school in the city of Upper Hutt, in the Wellington region of New Zealand. The school day runs from 8:40am - 3:00pm. The school's classes are mixed, which means that both Year 7's and Year 8's are included in one class.

Some special features within the school are the newly re-decorated library and cooking room. The school also has its own kiln to bake pottery in. The kiln can reach temperatures of up to 1200 degrees Celsius.

In the 2007 Prizegiving, the staff elected Cara Luiten to receive the Supreme Excellence award. Michael Badart and Steph Alexander received the Excellence awards for the school.

yndicates

The school is divided into 3 syndicates, which consist of 3 classrooms each. Classrooms 2, 3 & 4 make up Syndicate A; rooms 5, 6, & 7 make up Syndicate C; and rooms 11, 14 & 15 make up Syndicate C. In 2008, the syndicates will change & classes will be placed into different syndicates.

In 2007, the classes consisted of around 30 students: a mix of year 7 & 8, boy and girl students. These were the teachers in each classroom in 2007:
