Biography
Marshall Pailet is a composer for musical theater, as well as a playwright, professional actor, dancer, and director. He attended
Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and graduated in 2005 with a specialization in drama. He is an undergraduate atYale University where he studies Humanities (Intellectual History).He began his career as an actor on Broadway, appearing in "The Sound of Music", "A Christmas Carol", and "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". He has also appeared on the soap opera "
Guiding Light ", and multiple films and TV pilots including "Descent" and "The Prince".Pailet's composing career began at the age of 12 with playwright and lyricist A.D. Penedo. Their first collaboration "Loch Ness", was recently reshaped into a 70-minute children's musical. Their second collaboration "Where It's At", was selected for the
ASCAP Musical Theater Workshop (under the title "Cratchett Farm", performed atPrinceton University , the New York International Fringe Festival (Fringe Award Winner), and has an upcoming production at Yale University. Their latest work, "The Chocolate Tree", was recently selected for theNAMT Musical Theater Conference, and will have an upcoming production at the Actor's Cabaret of Eugene.Musicals
