Bradford Bulldogs and quickly picked up the sport. When the Wakefield outfit split up, he had more time to concentrate on his ice hockey. Nova Scotia ,Canada where he played with the St. Margaret Bay Ducks in theNova Scotia Junior Hockey League . He would only play for one season before returning to the UK.Upon his return to the UK, friend and fellow hockey player, Luke Boothroyd, recommended Chamberlain to Rick Strachan, Boothroyd's coach at Hull Stingrays. Chamberlain had a trial at Hull and has been a member of the squad since then.
