The LH-10 Ellipse is a two-seat light aircraft kitplane designed by LH Aviation of France. Development

The LH-10 has yet to enter production and is still undergoing flight testing. The first production model will be delivered assembled to Aerosport UK, the UK distributor for the kit. the LH-10 Ellipse is a seriously fast lightwieght aircraft, almost certainly the fastest with the small Rotax engine, but will not fullfil the UK requirements for Microlight certification and will require a SEP (previously Class A) licence to fly it. Approval for the kit by the UK LAA is targeted for September 2008. First kit delivery is targeted for November 2008 according to a LH-Aviation source at Farnborough airshow. He further states that for the future they are looking into LSA/ELA compliant production, possibly from the US. The airframe is constructed of composite material.

Engine

The production model is likely to be powered by a Rotax 912 (it has been tested using the 100HP ULS variant), although other options have been tested and discarded.

Undercarriage

The undercarriage is a tricycle design, and will be available in fixed or electric-retractable configuration.
