Russ Appleby

Russ Appleby (born July 23, 1980 in Sheffield) is an English magician who specialises in audience participation.

Biography

Having been shown magic tricks by both his Grandfathers he developed a passion for magic at the age of 4. He was given Paul Daniels magic sets for birthdays & Christmas & began putting on shows for his family. At the age of 11 he took over a geography lesson after being caught practicing by a substitute teacher & entertained his class mates. This continued throughout university upon realising that good entertainment meant free drinks at the bar.

A member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, he now works as a close up magician all over the UK performing at private engagements including weddings & corporate events. He is the resident magician at various hotels including Hilton & Marriot & has performed for celebrities throughout Britain.Russ Appleby supports the UK charities DebRA & Children in Need.
